A mirror is not a true reflection, but an assemblage that underscores asymmetries.

Our response to Terragni’s unrealised masterplan for Como proposes an urban strategy that re-presents the Casa del Fascio not as a mirrored object, but as the point of origin of an infinitely expensive system – a hall of mirrors. Our architectural proposal draws on a reading of the Casa del Fascio as an inherently asymmetrical building, whose missing bay finds an echo in the new extruded bar across its piazza.
